On 27 November 2025, our co-founder Jirka Hana was invited to speak as a panelist at the Primetime for Big Data conference, organized by Blue Events and hosted at the National Library of Technology in Prague (NTK). This year’s theme, “When Data Makes Sense,” brought together experts working with data and AI across industries to share their experiences, challenges, and visions for what’s coming next.
A Diverse Panel and Lively Audience Interaction
The panel Jirka joined featured a broad mix of perspectives, from enterprise analytics to applied machine learning and sector-specific innovations. This diversity sparked a highly engaging discussion, as each speaker offered a different lens on how organizations can turn data into meaningful impact.
What made the session particularly memorable was the active involvement of the audience. Rather than sticking to a fixed agenda, the panel reacted directly to questions submitted by participants. This interactive format kept the conversation grounded in real challenges and enabled deeper dives into the topics people truly cared about.
What Jirka Spoke About

During the conversation, Jirka shared selected examples, not a full catalogue, but a snapshot, of what we’ve been building recently in the AI space from a media-industry perspective. Among them:
- Recent AI use cases that help streamline editorial workflows and improve content understanding.
- Why knowledge bases remain deeply valuable in the age of generative AI, serving as a foundation that modern AI systems can enhance rather than replace.
- Our FactFinder, a RAG-based research tool for news media.
These examples illustrated how practical, well-targeted AI solutions can support both efficiency and quality when embedded thoughtfully into existing processes.
Looking Ahead
Primetime for Big Data once again highlighted how quickly the data and AI landscape is evolving, and how valuable it is for companies to exchange insights across sectors. Hearing how others tackle similar challenges was inspiring, and sharing our own experiences contributed to a richer discussion.
A big thank-you to Blue Events for the invitation and outstanding organization, and to the audience for creating such an engaging and thought-provoking atmosphere. We look forward to further conversations about how data and AI can drive meaningful progress.
